I have both the real HK and the Century MKE. Identical weld quality and magazine fit. The difference is the MKE is easier to convert to a full auto configuration if you have the registered full auto trigger pack. A bit of dremel time and it’s ready to go. The MKE has a more original military finish while the HK is more the shiny civilian finish.
Ap5 has a front push pin so anything clipped and pinned is no go. You can put just about any trigger housing that fits a real mp5. Dec 24, 2022 · BINARY I have one on a HK SP5k. It works and allows double-taps with amazingly short splits. I also own a registered Fleming sear in a 4-pos trigger pack. IMHO, the binary trigger is best treated like a full auto trigger when you are trying to make short bursts. Basically, pull affirmatively to the rear and immediately release. K’s are beautiful, and awesome at what they’re designed to do, but Jesus Christ they are small. If you’re on the tall side, there are significant ergonomic sacrifices that come with the increased compactness. And actual vertical grip handguard helps, but still — they’re tiny.On the K shorty model, ap5-p, binary trigger ran flawless. Seemed easier to get into a rhythm than with the full size. Not sure if thats because Ks cycle faster or because the binary in my full size is faulty.
